- 날이미지와 투시자의 상관관계 ― 오규원의 동시집 『나무 속의 자동차』를 중심으로 -
본 연구는 오규원의 동시집 『나무 속의 자동차』를 후기 시의 한 양태로 파악 하고, 이를 통해 랭보 시론과 날이미지의 상관관계를 살펴본다. 오규원은 “아무 것도 말하지 않으면서 모든 것을 말한” 날이미지가 “랭보 시 론 쪽으로 연결되기를 희망”한다고 밝힌 바 있다. 언어적 방법론의 차원에서 오 규원의 날이미지는 은유에서 환유로 시의 중심을 역전시키는 노력이었다. 이는 인간중심으로 세계를 해석, 왜곡하는 폭력이 은유적 세계관을 통해 드러난다는 오규원의 인식이 반영된 결과였다. ‘은유와 환유의 역학 관계를 바꾼다면 세계의 의미는 왜곡되지 않는다. 존재의 현상 그대로 자신을 말할 수 있다.’ 그것이 오규원이 생각한 날이미지의 정신이었다. 더불어, 시인은 그런 자신의 시론이 선적이거나, 현상학적인 관점에서 읽히기보다는 랭보의 투시자와 같은 하나의 시론적 시도로 읽히기를 바랐다. 그 결과, 오규원의 시 속엔 사물성, 투시, 관찰, 발견 등이 날이미지의 주요 한 특질로 작용하고 있다. 나아가 오규원의 동시를 랭보의 ‘나란 타자이다’라는 개념을 통해 살펴볼 때에, 사물 간의 재배열과 배치가 세계를 발견해낸다는 시 인의 독특한 사유가 시 속에 등장함도 확인할 수 있었다. 그동안 오규원의 동시가 오규원의 후기시를 연구하는 주 흐름에서 소외되었 던 것은 일정 부분 사실이다. 본 연구는 오규원 후기시를 현상학적 관점으로 파 악하던 흐름을 재고하고, 오규원의 시와 시론을 그 자신이 바랐던 시론적 관점 에서 다시 파악했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
Correlation between Raw Image and Voyant Theory
This study identifies Kyu-won Oh's poem collection for children Car in the Tree as an aspect of late poetry, and examines the correlation between Arthur Rimbaud’s poetic theory and raw image. Oh once said that raw image, which "said everything without saying anything," would "hope to lead to Rimbaud’s poetic theory." In terms of linguistic methodology, Oh's raw image was an effort to reverse the center of poetry from metaphor to metonymy. This was the result of reflecting Oh's perception that the violence interpreting and distorting the human-centered world is revealed through a metaphorical worldview. The spirit of raw image created by Oh was that the meaning of the world will not be distorted, and the things can speak of themselves as they are through the changes in dynamics of metaphors and metonymy. Also, the poet wished that his own poetic theory would be read as a poetic attempt, such as Rimbaud's voyant, rather than as a linear or phenomenological perspective. As a result, in Oh's poetry, materiality and clairvoyance as well as observation and discovery, which are the characteristics of the raw image, are presented as prominent features. Furthermore, when considering Oh Kyu-won's poetry through the concept of "’I’ is ‘Another’" in Rimbaud, it was confirmed that the unique discovery of Oh, in which rearrangement and arrangement between objects discover the world, appeared in his poems. The correlation between the raw image and the Rimbaud poetic theory is having a great influence on Oh’s poems for children. It cannot be denied that Oh's poems for children have been alienated from the main trend of studying Oh's later works of poetry. This research is significant that it attempted to re-identify Oh’s poems and poetic theory in the perspective of poetic theory, as he desired, through reconsidering his work from a phenomenological perspective.
